Ramona reference sheet

A reference sheet I'll probably keep adding to later; this one's made for some contest thing I'll bring up at a more adequate time. The following is also made for said contest and follows its rules to the letter with content:



Name: Ramona de Los Apostoles Covadonga Hernandes, or just R. Black according to her ID

Height: 4'5" (measure her hair and you get a clean 5')

Weight: ehhhh.

Age: 19 (has a forged ID for liquor)

Brief Bio: Born and raised in LA. Vandal and a nuisance for as long as she remembers. Has weight issues and contempt for her heritage. Middle child in a moderately-sized (7 kids) Mexican family. A dual citizen with a seasoned understanding of and refusal to speak the Spanish language. Extremely easy to spot in a crowd, never been caught stealing. Jobless; makes her living off of robberies and borrowed money that she's never been caught for.

Personality: A horrid pickpocketing delinquent thug asshole from the streets with unending greed, hatred, and apathy. Not one for conversation or even common courtesy. In any talk she's blunt and subjective who seems slightly disappointed with everything the other is saying. Has a "don't-give-a-fuck" air about her 24/7, looks like she's itching to hurt someone though. Lacks any sense of justice or moral boundary. Overtly detached and resentful. Loathes authority in all forms. Doesn't care one way or another about making a scene or statement. Hates organizations, hates government, hates anarchy over the idea that it'll bring SOME people together. Most importantly, will do whatever it takes to convenience herself and herself only.

Abilities: She's keen on avoiding detection despite her extroverted look. She's completely jaded and doesn't react very much to ultraviolence or pain. She's surprisingly fast on her feet and quick-thinking with improvisation, contrarily to her appearance and attitude.

Fighting Style/Weapons: Ramona has no formal sense of combat strategy, only a brutish impulse-bound brawler technique she's unwittingly formed over years of beating people to near-death for inadequate reasons. She's a cowardly, dirty fighter who loves exploiting wounds and weak points. Improv is her greatest weapon, as she's probably going to be as effective in combat with a large shard of glass as she will be with a crowbar or unloaded hunting rifle. She only really knows how to fire a gun when it's planted firmly into the enemy's forehead chamber, and most shots will be from-the-hip brick-firing.

Weaknesses: She's a completely and utterly normal human being with greed alone fueling her tenacity. The only thing inhumanly unique about her are her weird-ass pointy teeth. Although very sluggish to react to pain, she feels it completely and there is nothing protecting her from a grisly, repulsive evisceration. She may be a disillusioned and jaded cynic, but seeing things like space-traveling aliens and tentacled horrors will still scar her for life with horror and disbelief.

Trivia:
Wrong Vibe: unwaveringly straight, surprisingly
Brawler to the Core: Ramona was originally designed for a fighting game contest as a furious punk trash archetype who'd use cowardly methods to win. She got damn-near dead last in voting if memory serves right.
Land Shark: The theme I went for with her design was "land shark;" her hair is the fin, the teeth are pretty obvious, and her self-absorbed greed and gluttony are things associated with predators like sharks.
Nihilist: hates everything people likes just for the sake of hating, and shows little effort in getting worked up over provocation from others. In other words, she responds dismissively to most conversation.
Rough Speak: has a very harsh tone of voice overall. She talks bluntly, in an abusive manner most of the time. When threatened or excited, she'll get more trigger-happy and vulgar in tone. She'll start shouting shorter phrases compulsively in lieu of her usual smarmy nitpicking.
Cheap thrills: Booze, smokes, hard drugs, etc., Ramona's up for whatever's around as long as she's not the one fueling the ride.
Unimpressive Shredding: She spent most of her youth injuring herself and others skateboarding; she can still get around, but isn't used to her flashy old tricks with her "adjusted center of mass." True to her land shark inspiration, she uses her skateboard to glide about stealthily to attack unsuspecting alleyway pedestrians.
Provocateur: Ramona lacks any sense of social decency or remorse; thanks to this, she has a tendency to say exactly what she's thinking about someone, no matter what the opinion is. Being the scumbag piece of shit she is, it's always everything wrong or negative she sees about whatever she's looking at.

One thing about this character in THIS particular OCT is that she is literally beside herself in confusion and self-preservational madness. An easy way to summarize her behavior is violent, cowardly, elusive maneuvering. It's also safe to assume she's under the influence of a million hard drugs to avoid the stress of accepting reality, so illustrate with caution.

Also, it's TOTALLY cool if you kill her. Actually, I'd prefer it! Maybe if your character is merciful, you could have her try shit that gets her put down! That'd actually impress me as opposed to a fair and murder-free resolution!
